Bamboo Groves is an eco-lodging facility run by the Forest and Wildlife Department of the Government of Kerala. About fifteen bamboo huts are arranged among the bamboo groves. These are completely natural and modern constructions. It’s a very different atmosphere here. The chirping of birds and the murmur of bamboo groves are pleasing to the ears.
The Bamboo Grove package includes orientation program, tribal colony visit, wildlife film screening, bird watching, trekking and boat ride on the famous Periyar Lake. Lunch and dinner on the first day and breakfast on the second day are included in the package.
